Hi I'm Trevar Miles

I'm currently serving a mission for my Lord in Japan, am an aspiring musician, love spending time outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the Viola. I have been playing violin and viola since I was 5 and have stuck with it since then.I enjoy spending time outside being active. Some of my favorite activities are rock climbing, parkour, and just spending time with my family. I plan on going to college to study music after I serve a mission. I'm serving my Lord right now in Japan.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but I have not always been as converted to the church as I would have liked to have been. I developed a testimony of the Gospel as I began to read the Book of Mormon everyday, and know that this is truly God's church fully restored on the Earth today. Even though at times it seems hard to live by all of the teachings of the church, I know that my Father in Heaven loves me and wants to bless me through my obedience to his words. I have felt the Holy Ghost bear record of the truthfulness of the things I have been taught, and wish to help others feel of the same love our Heavenly Father has for them.

How I live my faith

I am serving a 2 year mission in Japan. I know I am here to serve the Lord and act as His hands and mouthpiece to the people in Japan. I do not believe the commandments we are given are hard or just silly rules, but if we live by them, we will grow closer to our Heavenly Father who loves us and will bless us if we are obedient to His commandments. I try to live as Christ did, in that, I try to be the best friend I can be for anyone that needs it. Christ truly loved everyone and even though I am not perfect, I can still strive to develop those Christ-like attributes and follow His example.
