Hi I'm Landon Pratt

I grew up in California, Hawaii, and Washington. I am Japanese-American. I love to surf, snowboard, and play guitar. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just got my associates from Brigham Young University Hawaii. I love Hawaii and doing outdoor things there like surf, hike, and swim. I also love to snowboard and play the guitar. My favorite kind of food is Japanese food. I love music and listen to all kinds of genres. One thing I really want to do is to travel around the world. I have four younger siblings.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in to this church. But as I have matured and gotten older, I have really chosen to stay a part of this church. Following the Lord's commandments gives me so much joy and happiness. When I am doing what the Lord wants me to do, that is when I know this church is true and that is when I really feel His love. Even in hard times, I feel the Lord by my side and know I am being taken care of and that is why I love being Mormon; there is always someone to turn to. I am a Mormon because I have felt that it is right and I know it is right.

How I live my faith

I love hanging out with the people in my ward and stake. I always try to be a good example by living the standards of the church, especially when I am with them. Hometeaching was always a hard thing to do, but I loved to do it and it was always great to go and help and teach families in our ward. With people that aren't Mormon, I just try to make it known that I am Mormon by the way I live. The most important thing for me is to be an example to others.
