Hi I'm Elder Samuelsen

I'm from Tucson, Arizona. I'm a missionary for the Church, in Washington. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a huge basketball fan, both college and pro. (My favorite college team is Arizona. Bear Down!) I went to Brigham Young University for a year. I love creative writing, and hope to publish a novel someday. I also love to read, especially fantasy. I'm a Mormon, born and raised, and love the Church!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the gospel is the only way to true happiness. Though I grew up in the Church, it's been a long journey to find my faith. However, the happiest times of my life have all come when I have been involved in the Church, not the least of which was when I was called to be a missionary! Simply put, the gospel is happiness that lasts forever. I've found a great deal of joy from my experiences in the Church, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share that with others. I know that there is a God, and that he loves and every one of us individually. His Son, Jesus Christ, died for us so that we could be with Him again in a state of paradise. The truth of this was restored by Joseph Smith, our first modern-day prophet; like the Biblical prophets before him, he restored the truth to us, God's children. The Church is true, and I love it!

How I live my faith

I'm a full-time missionary for the Church! I'm lucky enough to share the gospel with the people of Washington. I happily serve others in whatever ways I can!
