Hi I'm Alexandra Bahtishi

I'm a freelance artist, a filmmaker, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Alexandra Bahtishi. I am a self taught artist, who loves drawing fantasy creatures and cartoons. When I'm not drawing I enjoy playing with my cat, watching Star Trek, and getting into all sorts of adventures with my friends. I am also a freelance artist. I began selling my artwork in high school and later went on to selling it at Otakon (Japanese culture convention) in Maryland. Over the Summer I had the opportunity to sell my work at Phoenix Comicon where over 77,000 people attended. I am a recent graduate from Arizona State University with a Bachelors degree in Film and Media Studies. With an empasis in screenwriting I hope to tell meaningful stories and utilize my artistic abilities to create movie magic.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. As I continue to keep the commandments of God and press forward with faith I feel the Holy Ghost testify that the Gospel is true. Living the Gospel may not always be easy, but I know it is worth it. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. I love them more than my cat, Star Trek, and my art so I will give them my soul for I know no greater joy.

How I live my faith

In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I serve as a ward missionary. It is my duty to reach out those who are new to the church by answering their questions, lending my service to them, and by being their friend. I believe service and kindness is the essence of what Jesus Christ stood for. I have learned that when I put others before me I lose a hair of selfishness, and I am able to see the light that everyone carries within them. Leonard Nimoy once said, "The miracle is this-the more we share, the more we have." To truly love someone is to serve them with all your heart.
