Hi I'm Mike

I was born in Salt Lake City in 1950. I have seven grown children and 12 amazing grandchildren. I just retired .

About Me

I love living in Utah with the incredible seasons. I enjoy winder with all of the snow. Hunting and fishing with my sons and grandsons. The rest of the year I enjoy golfing with my wife and friends and traveling as much as possible. We have a cabin in the Uinta Mountains that we enjoy very much. I just retired in May from being self-employed for 46 years in the concrete construction business. I am looking forward to new adventures with my incredible spouse.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my desire to have an eternal family. After this mortal life and all of the blessings I have received it is so comforting to have a testimony and belief of being reunited with all of the people I love. I have been able to use the Atonment so much in my life to repent from mistakes I have made and to have the knowledge that my Heavenly Father remembers it no more . I love living a life with the Word of Wisdom and the Ten Commandments central in my beliefs. I pray that every one might have this opportunity.

How I live my faith

I try as much as possible to live my life by example to all of the people I know and care about. I am a sober alcoholic and have been sober since 1988. I have been able to work my 12th step of A.A through being a missionary in the LDS Addiction Recovery Program. My wife and I have served since 2002 and have had so many spiritual experiences serving in the stake centers, area jails and prison.I have gained so much knowledge about the Atonment and how much our Savior and Heavenly Father love and care about us.
