Hi I'm Spencer Faught

Born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada, love adventure, and currently serving a mission in Russia!

About Me

I am currently serving a mission for the church in the Rostov-na-Donu Mission. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada to an outstanding family. I spent most of my life either at school or on a baseball field and I love just about all sports or anything adventurous. Skydiving, hang gliding, and world traveling are just a few of the many things that I love to do. Playing the piano and guitar, as well as learning different languages are some of the hobbies I've grown in to as I try new and different things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have been exposed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and know that the fulness of his gospel can only be found in this church. I know that this church is true, and if I know it's true, why wouldn't I be a member of it? I know it's true because the source of all truth (God) has made it known unto me by the power of his Holy Spirit. After prayer and studies of the scriptures, it is all too evident that this is Christ's true church restored again on the Earth. It's not only an American church, but a church for all the sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father... That's everyone on the face of the Earth. We are all brothers and sisters, and our church is really just one big happy family. It's something that I love and will forever cherish.

How I live my faith

As mentioned, I have dedicated 2 years of my life to serving a mission for the Lord. This entails strengthening the church where I have been assigned to labor. Aside from this, living my faith comes not only from how I speak, dress, and who I spend my time with, but how I act. "Preach the gospel at all times, and, when necessary, open your mouth." This quote has struck me and has made me realize that people notice members of the church and how we behave. I find it important to always act as Christ would, because in the moments when you think no one is watching, is when it matters the most.
