Hi I'm Caitlin

I am a mother-in-training, a published researcher, a novice crocheter and an avid cook. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and planned to continue my education to become a Physician's Assistant. However, after dating and marrying the love of my life, I decided there were other priorities I needed to consider--first and foremost, being a Mother. This has been a difficult decision--many look down on my choice as "throwing away my potential." However, I believe (and am striving to remind myself every day) that there is no more noble, fulfilling and influential career than being a parent. That being said, I look forward to finding ways to use my education and love of learning to expand my sphere of influence outside of my own home.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I can be so much more through Christ than by myself. The teachings of the gospel push me to try a little harder to be a little better every day. I am a mormon because I have felt the comforting and healing power of the Priesthood. Through my patriarchal blessing, father's blessings and the sacred ordinances, including the sacrament, I have felt God reach out, heal my aching heart and calm my troubled soul. I am a mormon because the Holy Spirit has borne witness to me that this church, are true. I'm a mormon because I feel peace when I live the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to make the decisions Heavenly Father wants me to choose. That includes searching for and finding His answers to my questions through studying the words of ancient and modern prophets, meaningful personal prayer and following the commandments. It includes living those answers to the best of my ability every day and turning to God through the atonement for help and comfort when I falter. It also includes sharing those answers with other through my example and my testimony.
