Hi I'm Kendall

BYU Track and Field. Statistics major. Called to serve in the Japan, Nagoya mission.

About Me

I just finished up my first year of school as a freshman at BYU and plan to major in statistics. I love to play volleyball and tennis and anything outside. I love American History, especially the Civil War era. I love Indian food and like to cook.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Chrisf because it brings me true happiness. When I do what I know is right by praying often, reading scriptures, going to church, and serving others I am a happier person because I know I am growing as a child of God and preparing to meet God. The atonement of Jesus Christ is the greatest blessing we are given and the most powerful tool we have to return to our Father in Heaven. The sacrifice has already been made, and all Christ requires of us is a broken heart and a contrite spirit and our willingness to come into Him and allow him to heal us. I do not fully comprehend nor will I ever completely understand the atonement but I know that it is real because I have felt the beautiful power and blessings that come into my life because of Christ's infinite sacrifice. Another reason I love the gospel is the promise that families can be together for eternity through Heavenly Father's plan. What a wonderful blessing it is to be with those we love forever. I love the strength and peace the gospel gives me each and every day and I don't know what my life would be like without it.

How I live my faith

My first year living away from home was a little bit rough at first, especially going to a new place with unfamiliar faces. Visiting teaching was a great blessing because I got to know the girls I visited and also became friends with the girls who visited me. I enjoy teaching in church and discussing gospel topics with others because it gives me a broader perspective about Jesus Christ and his gospel. The church organization is a great way to meet people and develop long lasting friendships.
