Hi I'm Sarah Ashley Collard

I'm a small town girl. I love to hike. I'm a math enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Utah. I have amazing parents and three brothers. I love to hike, garden, and play sports with my family. I love to run; I ran cross country in high school. I've always liked school and math is my favorite subject. I want to earn a degree in biological engineering. I'm a book worm. I love Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and know more than I should about them. I love to experience new places and new cultures and want to travel as much as I can throughout my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an active lds family. I had so many amazing examples around me who taught me the gospel. I always loved going to primary and singing the primary songs. It wasn't until high school that I realized I needed to do more on my own to help my testimony grow. Over the past few years, I have really grown in the gospel. I love this church and the truth that it teaches- that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that there is a plan for each one of God's children. I have experienced so many feelings of love, comfort, and peace as I have worked to grow my testimony and I know this church is true. I have also felt so much love from my church leaders, seminary/institute teachers, and ward members. I have been blessed with some of the most incredible friends and they have been examples to me for my entire life. I know that as I follow the commandments as well as the council of our latter day prophets that I am happier. I know that God loves me and I am his daughter. I know that this is Christ's church and I am so thankful to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

I go to church meeting on Sunday and do my best to fulfill my callings. I love opportunities to serve others, even in little ways and I do my best to take those opportunities when I see them. I am so excited to get to spend the next eighteen months serving a mission to spread the gospel and pure love of Christ.
