Hi I'm Heather

I'm from California. I'm an athlete, musician, and student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student, musician, and athlete. Throughout my life I have come to a very firm belief that happiness is an active choice that we need to make every day. My senior year in high school I tore my left ACL in the peak of my soccer season and during that trial was when I realized that happiness is a choice and that attitude was everything. I didn't want to be a victim of my circumstances so I became dedicated to bringing not only myself joy but to fill the lives of those around me with joy as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I have struggled to live my faith at certain points of my life. I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a Mormon because I feel the most peace when I am striving to live like Christ. I am a Mormon because His gospel does change lives and brings the greatest happiness to pass. I am a Mormon because without my religion I do not feel complete. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a part of me and makes me who I am. I love this gospel. I know this church is true and that through living it's principles I have achieved the greatest happiness possible. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and that today we still receive modern revelation from the prophets and apostles of the Lord. I know that Jesus Christ bled at every pore so that we, his brothers and sisters, can return to our Father in Heaven and live a glorious eternal life. I know that families are forever and that someday we will have the opportunity to be with them for time and all eternity. I know this church is true. Nothing brings me greater peace than the testimony that I have of this church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through daily acts of kindness. I am actively attempting to find ways to lighten others burdens or bring joy into their lives. Christ constantly served His fellow man and to become more like him, I too search for ways to serve. I have been called to serve my Heavenly Father in England starting in January 2015 where I will live every day with the sole purpose of preaching the truth and helping others come closer to our Savior! I live and love this church and am so grateful to have the opportunity to show others of Christ's infinite love for us!
