Hi I'm Kameron Jensen

I am a son, older brother, and student at the University of Wyoming, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love being in the outdoors, fly-fishing, hunting, and roasting marshmallows are among my favorite activities to do there. I am calm and relaxed and at peace there.I am also a college student studying chemical engineering, with a bio-medical focus. I love learning and improving myself. As a student I am also a huge fan of our Cowboys! I am always my loudest and rowdiest at all of their sporting events, football, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, I am always front row leading chants and cheers, and getting after the opponents. Family is a huge part of my life, I have a great, loving, and very supportive family consisting of my dad and mom and four younger brothers. We are really quite the scene. I love them so much and always look forward to when I get to go home and go on the next adventure to a Cowboys game or climbing a mountain. I recently received my mission call the the Anchorage Alaska Mission and starting this summer will be spending the next 2 years of my life in vast north. I am so excited for this opportunity and cant imagine a better place for me to go. I cant wait to leave om my mission and hope to be the best missionary I can be.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family so I was raised Mormon. I have questioned myself my faith a couple times in my life but have always prayed and asked God if it was true and every time a strong feeling of love and warmth came over me and testified to me that it was true. I could feel Gods love for me and was immediately comforted. I am very grateful to have the knowledge about God and his plan for me. I love the doctrines and commandments that I have and how much joy they bring me, and how much better they make my life. I love living the gospel and couldn't imagine my life any other way, its just so great.

How I live my faith

I live my my faith by sharing it. I work with the missionaries to help people come closer to Christ and gain a testimony of him. I also visit other college kids in my ward as well, and find ways to serve and help them, and just provide a person to talk to. As students away from home and with out our families for the first time for a lot of us it is very helpful and comforting to know that someone cares and is always willing to help with whatever is needed. I also take time to do service for my community picking up litter along the green way and parks and around campus, volunteering at school events, and occasionally helping at the soup kitchen. I look for any random opportunities to serve and just be a nice good person to everyone around me.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Kameron Jensen
The Book of Mormon is a witness of Jesus Christ and his divinity. God loves all of his children and wants the best for all of them. As the BIble is a record of some of Gods children and Christ coming to them and setting up his church so too is the Book of Mormon a record of some of Gods children and Christ coming to them and setting up his church. The Book of Mormon and Bible go hand in hand and testify of each other. They do not contradict each other but rather help to make doctrines more clear and easier to understand. Show more Show less
