Hi I'm Emory

Arizonan. Music enthusiast. I love traveling and meeting new people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a geography major, excited to expand my knowledge about the world around me. I love to sing and play the piano--music is my favorite thing!

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be raised by parents who were strong and certain in their beliefs, but who encouraged me to find my own testimony. Throughout the years of attending church meetings, praying, and reading the Book of Mormon, I have come to recognize the peace and the comfort that is paired with these things. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me personally, as He does everyone else! I am grateful for the guidelines of the Church, and I appreciate the confidence that I have gained through living them.

How I live my faith

I love going to church meetings and activities, and I love and believe in the principles and commandments that I learn about there! I have played the organ and the piano for church congregations, planned and organized activities for youth groups, conducted meetings, and taught lessons. I had my first opportunity to be a visiting teacher when I went to college. I have loved the ways that I have grown through each of these opportunities. My decision to go on a mission was largely made through prayer and contemplation, and through turning my worries over to the Lord. I received a sure answer, and I am now happily preparing to serve!
