Hi I'm Corena

I was raised in California and currently live in Utah. I'm am training to be a stuntwoman and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy anything and everything outdoors. Hiking, boating, biking, sitting in trees, I could do it all day. I also enjoy staying active and am currently studying dance in college. I enjoy gymnastics, parkour, martial arts and sword fighting. I did theater throughout all of high school, and am continuing to study that as well in college. I love building and hope to do mechanical engineering or some form of architecture as a side job to my stunt career. I am currently preparing to serve a full time mission in Sendai, Japan, and will be serving the Lord for the next 18 months of my life. I aspire to one day travel the world and meet lots of new people, helping me to better understand the world and making it a better place.

Why I am a Mormon

I know this church is true. I have seen too much that cannot possibly be a coincidence. I have felt the power and love of the Holy Ghost. I have received a witness of the power of the atonement and I have felt the unconditional love of the Lord. I have read the Book of Mormon and received a witness of its truth, and I know and love the teachings and lessons that come from it. I have felt the power of the preisthood, and I have seen it bless my life as well as others. I know without a doubt that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that this is the only true and living church with the full power and authority to bring us back to the presence of God. I know that by living the faith and striving to keep our covenants and the commandments of the Lord and Savior that we will find a joy and happiness and clarity and guidance to our life that cannot be found anywhere else. I know that we all have a plan to follow, and that we will have the chance to live with God again. I know that President Monson is a true and living prophet in this day and age and that he has the power and authority to receive revelation and guidance from God in leading this church to be the church that God wants it to be. I know that God lives, I know he loves us, and I know that he wants nothing but the best for us and that by having faith in him we will be able to find true joy. My life has been forever changed by the power of the gospel, and I am so grateful to be a member. I know I would be a different person if I didn't have the light of Christ in my life. I love this church, and I hope that you can come to understand and know for yourself, that you too can receive the confirmation that this church is true, and I ask you to sincerely pray and try to know for yourself. It is the only way for you to ever truly know. I know that God loves you, and I know that he wants what is best for you, and that through careful study of the scriptures and earnest and sincere prayer, that you will come to know it too.

How I live my faith

I have been serving as a primary teacher, where I teach a class of kids who are about to turn 8 and be baptized into the church. It is truly a blessing to be able to see the light and joy that comes from teaching the children of the church. They carry a special spirit and it has been an honor to be able to help them prepare to receive the covenants of baptism, and experience the joy that comes from being a member of this church. Sometimes the most powerful witness that can be given is through the faith of the little ones, and I have grown and learned as much from them as I hope they have learned from me. I also believe that it is an important part of this church to strive to love others and see them as God sees them, and that has been a huge part of my personal testimony and helping to share the light and love that comes from following God's plan.
