Hi I'm Lexi

I grew up in Southern Alberta, Canada. I am serving in the West Virginia Charleston Mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a full-time mission in the West Virginia Charleston Mission. I love to do anything outdoors, I am the middle child of two brothers. I was baptized when I was eight years old, but as I got older I really began to gain a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. After much searching and reading, through prayer I came to know that this is the true church established on the earth today. I feel so lucky to be going around sharing the happiness I have felt through the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

If you would have asked me two years ago "Why I am a Mormon" I would probably say because it is all I have ever known or because my parent's are. About two years ago I had the opportunity to go on an encampment where we were going to live in the times of the Book of Mormon, and see the events happen right before our eyes. It truly did not sound fun to dress up and be in the forest for four days, But, my brother kept insisting I go so finally I agreed not knowing what to expect. That encampment changed my life. I have never felt the spirit so strong and never had I had a confirmation that this gospel is true until those moments in the forest. I will forever be grateful for that experience and for everything that came after that.

How I live my faith

I have been so lucky to receive the calling of being in the primary. I have always loved kids so being able to teach and learn with them each sunday is such a blessing in my life. And in about four months I will have the wonderful opportunity of becoming a full time missionary.
