Hi I'm Lauren

I'm a BYU student. I'm from Southeast Idaho. I love animals and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southeast Idaho where I was an active participant in a variety of activities, including ballet, 4-H, piano, and student government. I'm the oldest of eight kids and part of a very large, but very close extended family. I'm currently a student at Brigham Young University and I am majoring in Biology. I love animals and the outdoors, and I plan on becoming a veterinarian. At some point in the future, I would also like to raise beef cattle on a ranch, along with a variety of other animals, including horses, goats, sheep, and chickens. I'm also a huge nerd and I love reading, watching Doctor Who, and playing video games.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that my Heavenly Father is always there for me. I grew up in the church and I have had the opportunity to see it's effect, as well as the opportunity to see the lives of those who don't have the gospel. Many of my nonmember friends often seemed a bit lost in life because they were not sure of what happens after death or where we come from or even if there was someone watching over them. I have such a strong testimony of this gospel and Heavenly Father's plan for us. I know that He helps us to learn and grow and supports us through the hard times. I can't even begin to imagine life without the gospel, and I wouldn't want to. We are provided with a road to happiness and eternal life. We also know that no matter what befalls us, God's love for us will never fail.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always striving to be the best I can be. I know that if I am trying my hardest, then Heavenly Father will take care of the rest.
