Hi I'm Josh

I've grown up in New Mexico and I love to play basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm going to be serving in the Hawaii Honolulu mission beginning next week. I'll return to my family and schooling in two years. I played high school basketball, and love to play with my dad and brothers. We took state my sophomore and senior year, and it was really exciting to be a part of such a great team. Sports are a big part of my life. My family is the most important part of my life, though. I have four brothers and a sister, and we have a lot of fun together. We love to go to the river, play ball, ride bikes, camp, and just about anything that's active.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and decided to find out if it was true, so I read the Book of Mormon beginning when I was 14. I've now read it four times, and I know in my heart that it is true. I love the simpleness of the teachings of the prophets of the new world, and the way it presents Heavenly Father's plan of happiness to His children. I know with all my heart that it, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

Since I graduated from high school, I teach in the Young Men's program at church. This way I get to practice teaching lessons like I will do as a missionary. I also go home teaching with my dad at least once a month to watch over other members of the church in our area. We are assigned to visit three families, help them with anything they may need, and learn to love them and take care of them. I am getting ready for a mission, and I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and I'm excited to share the happiness it brings to me with the people in Hawaii.
