Hi I'm Itza

I grew up in Michigan, Japan, China, Mexico and California. I like to run and laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy running, baking, going to the beach, reading, watching movies, and spending time with family. I am currently a college student studying business management with dreams of one day running a non-profit organization or starting my own company. One of my great passions is traveling; I love visit new places, meeting new people, and learning/experiencing different cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

This church has been my strength and my backbone in life. Its teachings are the only things I know for sure in this life and what I value the most. I know that Christ is my savior and that he sacrificed his life on the cross for the sins of all people, and that all through him can return one day to live with God. I know that this is the same church as that Christ had when he was on the Earth. I know this is the true church with a true messenger of God, our Prophet as it leader and revelator. All the pieces just fit together so perfectly with the church. Through being a Mormon I have found purpose in life, and that is to live like Christ did so that I may one day return to him and the Father. It is what gets me up in the morning and what helps me to continue through trials, no matter how difficult. I love Christ, he is my brother and best friend, and I know that he knows me by name and established this church with me and my needs in mind.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being as supportive and friendly to others as much as possible. In my college church meetings it was my assignment to greet every member of the congregation every Sunday as they entered the chapel, and this was one of my ways I was able to show my support and love for them. I also live my faith by being the best example I can to my family, friends, coworkers and community. I try my hardest daily to follow the teaching of the Church and Christ, and to specifically love others.
