Hi I'm Kalvin

I come from a family of 7 kids. I love to work on cars. I'm a mormon

About Me

I was born in Texas, lived there for 3 years and am now living in Idaho where I've been for 16 years. I got my mission call and am going back to Texas!! its kinda weird that I'm going back but I'm so excited! A little bit about my self would be I love working on cars, and I love playing sports. in high school, I played rugby for 3 years and was captain for two. I loved it!! it was rough and I got a lot of bloody noses but at the end of each game everybody from both teams would gather round and eat with each other. we would just talk and have fun. we would complement on each others good hits and plays. and that's why I loved it so much. we would play hard on the field, but after wards, we were all brothers. I also love working o cars. especially classic muscle cars. my grandpa got me into it. he gave me my first car when I was 14. a 1964 ford thunderbird. it had 4 flat tires, one good spare, a rusted out trunk and floor board and no carburetor. while working on that car, not only my love for cars has grown, but also a lot more. I have learned patience, persistence, dedication, and determination.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the things that are taught are true. I know because I have prayed and have gotten an answer. I know that there is no other way that joseph smith could translate the Book of Mormon but by the power of God. I a also a Mormon because I have seen the happiness it brings in my life. it makes me so happy to know why I am here on earth and where I came from and where I am going if I keep the commandments.

How I live my faith

Whenever I get the chance, I go participate in a community dinner. whether it's serving the food or picking corn and husking it. (They never have let me cook though) I love it. its held in a church not of our faith but that's not what matters. what matters is that its a great opportunity to get together and serve as a community. I also like to share my faith with my coworkers, by my words, but more importantly, my actions.
