Hi I'm Joelle

I love music, crafts, and animals. I'm a missionary serving in the Colorado, Colorado Springs Mission! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a California girl! But I long to see the world and discover what the world has to offer. I have three brothers that are always there to protect and tease me, and parents that taught me the fun way to see and enjoy life. I love my family and the stories and memories we make together. I love music and enjoy playing the violin and viola and sharing my love of music with others. I love all variations of crafts that I love to teach myself to do (Go YouTube!). I love all animals in the world (besides spiders!) and I aspire to become a Veterinarian. I love my friends and the laughter we share. I love my Savior. And I can't wait to see what the world has to offer through the good and bad days! Through hardships we can find true Joy!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. There a came a time where I knew that it was time for me to find out for myself if it was true. I saw through my families testimonies and love for the gospel that led me to find out for myself. My dad told me he would always worry about me until he could see in my eyes and through my actions that I knew the church was true. Through my high school years I thought about what he said. I can't pin point one exact moment that I knew. It was a collection of multiple experiences of my own that I knew that this is the true church, because it made me Happy. It doesn't take a miraculous miracle to know. It is through the experiences in our life. Both good and bad that we can know for ourselves. I hope my dad and others see it in my eyes and through my actions that I know this is the church of God. He Lives! and He will come again. The church has changed my life for the better!

How I live my faith

I'm not perfect, we all aren't. But I strive to do my best. And through the Atonement and faithfully going to church ever Sunday I can start anew, as I take the sacrament, and strive to always try my best to live the standards of the gospel given to us through the scriptures and the words of out prophets. The standards don't take away our freedom, it gives us freedom to choose. Through faithfully attending church meetings, following church standards, and serving others I have been able to work on my path to who my Heavenly Father sees me to become. He has the big picture and helps us on our way to be the best version of ourselves. I strive to live my life by being an example and friend to everyone around me. We are all God's children and as his children we are brothers and sisters and we can come to love one another through our differences. I live to prepare my life for the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ once again. He is the perfect example, and he is the one that guides our faith. He lives! And I love him!
