Hi I'm Ashley Dean

I am from California. I'm currently serving in the Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission. I'm a pole vaulter. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in Northern California, I am the youngest of 3 siblings (2 brothers and 1 sister). I am currently serving a mission in the Utah Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission. I'm a pole vaulter. I love running. I'm a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both converts to the church and I was raised a member of the church all my life. I thought I understood the gospel growing up but it wasn't until my brother challenged me to read the Book of Mormon for myself and to pray to know the truthfulness of it. Through reading the Book of Mormon, I came to understand the Atonement and came to understand it's healing power as I applied it to my own life. I am converted to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost has confirmed to me that God loves us so much that He would restore His church on the earth through a prophet especially after the the priesthood authority was taken from the earth after Christ's apostles were killed and unauthorized changes made in doctrines and ordinances in the early church. There is only "One Lord, one faith, one baptism" (Ephesians 4:5) and that is found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints today and forever. My life has been full of obstacles and trials but it is the Atonement that has carried me through everything. The Savior lives and because of that, we will all be able to be resurrected and can be sealed together with our families for eternity through that restored priesthood power.

How I live my faith

I am serving a year and a half voluntary mission. I teach people about how they can have true joy through living the Gospel of Jesus Christ everyday and it is the most fulfilling calling I've ever had.
