Hi I'm Ruby

I'm a convert to the Church,I searched for the truth and have found it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Like Prophet Joseph Smith, I searched for the truth and have found it. I attended the church meeting in November 2013 with the help of my friend Rose, and been taught by the Sister Missionaries right then on. Then I have been baptized December of the same year, and this year 2015 I'll be going on a mission and I'm so excited to Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ unto every man who needs it. I love music so much like there's no particular day when you wouldn't hear me sing or play a music. My love for music had been developed growing up in a Methodist Church. Even in College I used to participate in a music event held by our department. I love dancing, acting, reading, watching movies, writing poems and short stories too. Travelling different places is one of my goal.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in a Methodist Church didn't opened an opportunity for me to look for another sect or discover something new that could help my faith grow stronger. I remember when I was a child, my parents are being taught by an American Elders, & me just browsing through a book with lots of pictures of Christ and that made me feel happy. On my College days I always passes by a Church near my School, & it feels like I wanted to go there, like there is something special in that place though I didn't know what kind of church is that. When I graduated I met a girl in a company's bowling event & she's the only one I could talk to, I find something special in her that makes me want to talk to her. I also met a girl with something special in her at the other company I worked at. It was on my College year when I found out somethings missing in me. I can no longer feel the presence of God inside the church where I grew up, I feel incomplete. I came up realizing that I wanted to attend a church with a reverent service, I wanted to go somewhere with nothing else to do but teach the words of Christ, then I discovered The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints then I don't know but I wanted to be at that Church. After I graduated at the year 2012 I used to talk to my highschool friend, I keep telling her that I want to go to their Church which is a Mormon Church but she's in Utah, & things are a bit complicated like my work schedule. It was Nov. 11, 2013 when I commented on her post & got mentioned by her twin Sister who just got back from her Mission. I told her that I wanted to go to their church on Sunday and so I went there. That's when I knew that that was the Church I used to pass by during College, & I know It was the Spirit that has been calling me since then to go there. I remembered the 2 ladies I met before, and my highschool & primary friend they are Mormons and that's why I find them special. Now I'm here and I am so blessed to have found the truth.I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have been called as a ward missionary and been teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and other Church related topics to Investigators, less active members, and other members of the Church together with the Full-time Missionaries and Ward Missionaries. Being a ward Missionary has made me more friendly, loving and caring like I need to know all of those people I'll be teaching with and sharing my testimony about the Gospel and the Chruch. I need to consider the situations they have and I need to make them feel they are important and that we love them being our brothers and sisters. I also teach at the Gospel Principle class, in preparation for my Mission. I love teaching there and I am so happy letting them know the basic doctrines of the Church.I also learned a ton from them and that was a great thing being a teacher, because you didn't only teach, you also learn things as they participated in the class.
