Hi I'm Teancum

I'm from Bakersfield, California. I'm serving in the Indiana, Indianapolis Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a basketball player practically my whole life and I love social interaction. I'm getting ready to leave on my mission in a few days. I haven't done a whole lot with my life other than graduate from high school, but in the past couple years, I've hiked Mt. Whitney, gotten a scuba diving license, and coach a basketball team.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and my name even comes from the Book of Mormon. My family has been in the church for as long as it's been around, so I've had a strong spiritual influence throughout my life. I ask myself why I've remained a member and questioned the church at times, but I've come to know that there is know other church that knows the fullness of the gospel as well as this one does. I know for a fact that I will be raising my children in the church.

How I live my faith

Being a teenager, well, 18 year old, I haven't had too many major callings and positions in the church. I've been the youth leader in my age groups a few times and I was heavily involved in the Boy Scouts when I was younger.
