Hi I'm Lori

The decision to become a Mormon was the turning point in my life, the best decision I ever made. The miracles never cease.

About Me

I love to read and recently saw a sign that declared 'reading is sexy!' so I feel totally vindicated. I also love to be outdoors in good weather, walking or hiking. I like taking my little dog for short walks and going with friends for long walks. I have traveled quite a bit. I love snow skiing and have skied on several slopes in Colorado, New Mexico, and New York. Have cruised to Alaska, New England and Mexico. I lived in Texas for almost 20 years. What a great time that was! When I am not having fun, I am working..:)

Why I am a Mormon

I met a member of the church in Texas and she told me a little bit about what Mormon's believe. I was intrigued and wanted to know more. She introduced me to the missionaries and a short time later I prayed to know if what they taught me about the Book of Mormon was true. A warm and powerful feeling came over me and l knew without a doubt that the Book of Mormon contained God's words. I was baptized 2 months after meeting the missionaries and have never looked back. The gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed my life in so many ways and I know in whom I believe. I encourage any who want more happiness, more peace and more joy to learn about the Mormon church.

How I live my faith

My faith is the most important thing about me and to me. On Sundays I teach a small class of kids 11-12 years old. They are awesome.I joined the church as an adult and find it interesting to see what the children learn. One is never too young to feel the influence of the Holy Ghost. The children who grow up with the gospel are blessed to know who they are, why they are here, and where they are going. I wish I had known that sooner in my life.
