Hi I'm Mia

I'm a daughter of God. I was born and raised in Brazil and I'm a mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it.

About Me

I am a college girl, but in a few days I will be a full-time Sister Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I could not be happier to share this amazing gospel with other sons and daughters of God. I'm Brazillian and I have a family of 5 members in it, including myslef. I love them; we are always together, well, apart from work. Although we have busy lives, we still manage to have time to bond and learn together. I like hanging out with my friends, too. We do regular stuff, like going to the movies or going out to eat something and have a good time. Oh, and my favorite ice-cream flavor is vanilla.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this gospel. My parents always made sure I was there every Sunday, learning what this gospel is all about. Of course that's not the reason why I keep going to church and keep being an example to others anymore. Throughout my life, my testimony of this Church has become stronger as I started living its commandments and doctrines. I was able to know for myself that I am in the right place, even though I've never been a member of other religions. I know that this is the true and restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and I know that Joseph Smith was the prophet who restored the church and translated the Book of Mormon, which is the word of our loving Heavenly Father. I also know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for us, for all humanity, that we may have the chance to be forgiven of our sins and live once again with God if only we repent sincerely, get baptized, live the commandments and endure until the end. I know this gospel is true; I know it, I live it, I love it.

How I live my faith

I think the best way I live my faith in Jesus Christ is by being an example to others. All my life I went to schools which most of the time I was the only mormon person attending it. It was hard in the beggining because my values were not the same as my friends', but by living what I am taught everyday at Church, they started to respect me and respect my relegion. Some of them even started to get curious about the gospel and eventually got baptized in the Church. People are always watching other people, and I think being an example and helping others to be better is really a genuine love for what I believe in.
