Hi I'm Braeden Nephi Murphy

I grew up in American Falls, Idaho. I love to read, write, and study my scriptures. I love the gospel, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read and write. I've had ideas for books that I wanted to write for years. I love to workout. The physical exertion calms my mind, and I enjoy being healthy. I absolutely love the church and my Heavenly Father. I'm getting ready to serve Him as a full-time missionary, and I cannot wait to go and serve. I want to help bring others the joy I have felt being a part of the church. I've also received my Eagle Scout award.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I have loved it ever since I was little. I have felt the joy that the gospel brings into the lives of those who follow it since I was fairly little. I want to share the gospel because of the joy that I have felt. I know that those who follow the commandments of our Heavenly Father, and follow Him with faith will be blessed beyond what they can imagine. Our Savior loves us. That's why He gave us the Atonement. It gives us the chance to repent, and be forgiven, and it can give us strength to overcome trials. I know this because I have seen it in my own life as I've made mistakes and repented. I know the Book of Mormon is a true testament of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and those that live by its teachings will come to know Him better, and will be blessed with joy and happiness.

How I live my faith

I have served in several youth callings in the church. I work with my bishop and leaders a lot to plan activities for mutual, where all of the youth in our ward get together to do fun activities, or conduct service oriented projects. I have early morning band in school at 7:00 a.m., so I wake up every morning at 5:00 a.m. to make sure that I have time to read my scriptures and say my prayers before school. I have release time during school to go to Seminary, and I am the Seminary Council President. I try to do all that I can to help those that are in my Seminary to strengthen them, and help them to love the scriptures. I try to be an example at all times when I'm at school, and help others to see the light of my Heavenly Father that He shines through me.
