Hi I'm Bradley

Born and raised in Denver, CO! I am a Biochemistry Major at Utah State University. Florida Tallahassee Mission! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Denver, CO, USA. As per my hobbies and interests, I love all things active. I grew up playing baseball. I have tried almost every single sport, but baseball has stuck with me. I love to learn, and am studying Biochemistry at USU. I love to hike, mountain bike, wakeboard, snowboard, play with kids, and play soccer/baseball. I have climbed and stood atop the summit of many 14ers in Colorado, (mountains over 14,000 ft.), and have done my fair share of traveling. I have been called to serve in the Florida Tallahassee Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know without a doubt in my mind and heart that this is The Church of Jesus Christ as He meant for it to be on this Earth. I was born into the church, however in no way does that mean that I am just Mormon because it was the way I was raised. Sure, I questioned it, we all do, but I had an overcoming conversion where I was convinced that this church is true. I think that it came when I was going through some difficult times at the age of 17, and that summer I went to EFY, (a church camp), where my life was changed forever. It was a week full of constant learning and studying of the Gospel, and at the end of the week I knew without a doubt that this was God's church. I had felt the Spirit so frequently throughout the week. I am a Mormon because of the incredible sense of community, my faith that the Book of Mormon is another word of God, the ability to receive personal revelation, knowledge that there is a prophet on the Earth today to lead and guide us, and knowledge that we are all God's children and Jesus Christ is our Savior and brother and They know us all individually by name, and have eternal love for all of us, no matter what we do. I love being a Mormon, and I know that it is the true church of God.

How I live my faith

I love to live my faith, because it is so important to me. Growing up in a school where there were not many LDS (Mormon) kids, it sometimes made it difficult to continue to live my faith, however I knew that it was the right thing to do so I stood strong. It became especially difficult as I grew up playing baseball, and many kids would participate in activities that did not coincide with my standards, however I lived my faith by setting an example and following the commandments that have been set for us in this mortal life. In my YSA ward, I was the First Counselor in the Sunday School Presidency, which meant I helped make sure that Sunday school went smoothly each week, which was crucial for growing faith on the Sabbath. I have participated in various service projects, and have frequently helped others with all of their needs.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

The current prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Thomas S. Monson and he is supported by Henry B. Eyring and Dieter F. Uctdorf in the First Presidency. (Similar to Peter, James and John). All members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles are apostles and prophets. Show more Show less
