Hi I'm Lexi

I love archery, rock climbing, and volunteering in a horseback riding therapy program for people with disabilities. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Like I said earlier, I love archery and rock climbing. I'm not competitive in either, I just find a lot of joy in doing them with my family and friends. I'm going to college, where I love learning more about the world around me. I love working with people with disabilities, which is why most of my free time over the last few years has been spent volunteering at a horseback riding therapy program. I love all of the amazing people I've met, the awesome horses, and the miracles I've seen in people's lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found that this church contains Christ's complete and true gospel. I have read the Book of Mormon multiple times and I am always impressed by just how much it's teachings ring true to me. As I've tried to apply it's teachings and principles in my life, I have seen incredible changes and blessings. I've found a happiness and peace that I believe can only come through obedience to our Heavenly Father. I follow His gospel because I believe it is true. I don't always know everything about it, but I do know that if I have the faith to continue to be obedient, He will bless me. I believe that Jesus is the Christ, who atoned for our sins and made it possible for us to return and live with our Heavenly Father. I believe that we have modern prophets on the earth today who give us guidance and direction from God. I believe that the Book of Mormon is true. My testimony is what gives me strength to continue in faith. And as I do, my testimony grows even stronger. This happiness and joy in the true gospel of Christ are the reasons that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day. I've had the chance to work with the teenage girls at church, and I try to set a good example for them as I try to help them reach their potential. While at college, I've loved being a part of all of the church activities. I study my scriptures and pray every day, and it's incredible how these two little actions have enabled me to recognize all of the blessings that God has given me. I try to let this light shine through in my actions toward others, and I try to lift and serve those around me whenever I can. I've found that it's sometimes the small and simple things that can bring the most joy to the lives of others.
