Hi I'm Daryl Waite

I am an average girl with high aspirations in life. I am an extreme extrovert and love people. I am a missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am proud to say that I am a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, currently serving in the Oregon Portland Mission. I attended SUU for a year and am a Psychology Major, Communication Minor. I have 6 siblings, 3 inspiring grandparents, and two "goodly parents" that I adore. I was born into this church, but I become more converted everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The LDS church and as I have gotten older, I have been able to seek for myself the truth that it holds. Of course, as a child, it is hard to understand exactly what you have gotten yourself into but I know that there was always a loving God watching over me and I know Him as my Heavenly Father. My testimony has grown slowly over the years and has become stronger than I could have ever imagined. Without this gospel in my life, I know that I would not be able to be as happy as I am in times of trials and hardships. I know that my Heavenly Father knows me, loves me, and wants the best for me. I know that as I continue to strive everyday to be positive, uplifting, and motivated to do my best, I can achieve greatness in this life and the life after. My testimony is simple, but it is my rock in the hard world we live in.

How I live my faith

I love to be involved in my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have had many callings as I have grown up and have always tried to do my best to love, serve, and help others. I suppose one of the biggest decisions I have made in life so far is to leave my family, home, college, and all that I know and love, to preach the Gospel in Oregon. This is the greatest calling I have ever received. There will never be a time in my life where I will ever look back and regret my decision to give myself to the Lord to be an instrument in His hands for 18 months. This church is an amazing service church and I greatly enjoy being apart of something so loving and selfless.
