Hi I'm Becca

I grew up among the beautiful corn fields of Illinois. My favorite things are reading and running. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love doing anything as long as it is outside. My dream is to someday grab my backpack and a hammock and go into the mountains and never come back. The only fault in this plan is that I love my family and friends enormously, so I will have to somehow convince them all to come away with me. I cherish my family more than anything and have been blessed to have five other siblings, three brothers and two sisters. My favorite memories are all with them, camping, road trips, jam sessions, or just sitting and talking together. I am currently attending Brigham Young University in Idaho and I just want to study all the majors. I am working on narrowing that down. I love animals too and my mother no longer allows me to go to shelters or pet stores because I always come home with some creature or another. At one time I had six guinea pigs living in my room with me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the happiness and blessings it gives me. Through prayer I have a personal relationship with God, and I have been able to ask whether this church is true, and I have received my answer. I had the privilege of being able to grow up in the Mormon faith, but that is not why I continue to choose to practice my faith as an adult. It is because I am personally converted to this gospel. I love this church and the true joy that it gives me.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in everything that I do. It is mostly simple things like reading my scriptures, praying, and in serving others. I try to live my life so that, "those who know me, but do not know Christ, will want to know Christ because they know me".
