Hi I'm Anna Nielsen

I've lived in Utah for my whole life. I love learning new things about arts and languages. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing piano, guitar, and tennis. I love to read and write and learn. I've gone to college for a year now. I'm learning French and love it. I will be serving in the England Birmingham Mission later this year!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that what this gospel teaches is true, and I love it so much. I love to read the Book of Mormon and learn from the prophet's examples. I know with all my heart that Joseph Smith is a prophet and that he was commanded to translate the Book of Mormon by God. I'm so grateful for everything this gospel has done for me and my family, and all the love we've gained from it. I know it's true, and that God loves everyone of his children.

How I live my faith

I've served all the girls in my ward at college for the last year and have loved getting to know all the girls and have grown to love each and every one. I've also lead the sacrament music and served in various callings when I was younger. I participate in many activities in my ward and have helped organize a few.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Anna Nielsen
Mormons aren't required to serve a mission. They are encouraged to serve a mission so as to help spread our gospel to everyone around the world. Many serve around their 18th or 19th birthday, or their are opportunities for senior couples to serve together. It's a wonderful opportunity for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but not required. Show more Show less
