Hi I'm Hailey

I grew up in Idaho. I'm a marching band nerd. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I lettered in marching band and golf in high school, and yes i realize most people do not count either as a sport:) I have been attending college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and having a blast. I love reading, particularly fantasy. And if you know what this means, yes I belong to many "fandoms". Starting June 3rd I will be setting out for the Oklahoma, Tulsa mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been Mormon all of my life and I choose to remain that way because of the way it has blessed my life and made me a better person. It pushes me to be the best I can be. It incites me to do all I can to better myself in every way, not just within my faith. It is the most service oriented faith I have ever come across and I love the support structure of this church. I know that this church is true and that Jesus Christ died for my sins so that I can one day be reunited with my Heavenly Father once more. I love my Savior and strive to live according to his example so that one day I may see him again.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my day to day life in a way that will invite the spirit with me always. I attend church each sunday, read my scriptures as often as I remember at night, and I attend Ward Activities, or organized events for our church.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Of course we do. The Bible illustrates essential doctrine and commandments that guide our church. It testifies of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and has been divinely inspired. Our belief in the Book of Mormon does not contradict or dispute the teachings and doctrines of the Bible in any way. We believe that the Book of Mormon is and addition to these Holy Scriptures and allow us to more fully understand what is expected of us by our Heavenly Father. They work in harmony to bring us to the fulness of the Gospel. Show more Show less
