Hi I'm Kelcie

I love to write. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm attending college to become a paralegal, but my real dream is to become an author. I love to read, write, and draw and I love to stargaze when I get out of the city. My family's traveled to Spain and Australia and I dream of the day when I can travel the whole world!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church and have been raised in it my entire life. Perhaps you're thinking now that 'oh, then we don't have much in common', but I can assure you that my life hasn't always been easy. I've made mistakes, done stupid stuff, and felt guilty over yelling at someone just like anyone else has, but I've always had the Gospel to pick me back up when I fall. I'm not a member of the LDS Church because I was brainwashed from birth. I'm a member of this Church because I love it. I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father. I love the knowledge that I can be forgiven of my sins if I repent with sincere intent and families can be together forever. I'm blessed to be led by council from a living prophet who receives revelation in this time and age, along with his wonderful counsellors and apostles. If you're even mildly interested in our religion, I personally invite you to come see for yourself. Sure, we might be a little 'peculiar', but we're also human and that's something we ALL have in common.

How I live my faith

I've had a few callings in the Church: class president, a member of a provident living committee, and I was a missionary for the ward--which means that I basically followed the sister missionaries around a few times to see what it'd be a missionary. I'll soon be serving an 18 month mission for the Church in the States.
