Hi I'm Jess

I grew up in Teton Valley Idaho, I am currently serving in the Colorado, Colorado Springs mission, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first year of college at Utah Valley University. I am currently serving a mission for my church in Colorado Springs CO. I love to play volleyball, softball, and I love to swim. I have two younger siblings that I absolutely love more than anything. I love being their example even though that responsibility carries a lot of pressure at times. I have a very strong testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that through this gospel families can truly be together forever. I know that the relationships that we work to nurture in this life will last into the eternities.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church brings me nothing but true happiness. I have a very strong testimony of this church and the joy that it brings. When I have been true and faithful to the teachings of this church, my Father in Heaven has tremendously blessed myself and my family. I am serving an LDS mission because I want to be able to share the joy and love I feel through this gospel with as many people as I can. I want to show people that there can be eternal joy and happiness and that all families can be together for all eternity.

How I live my faith

For my church calling I am a teacher for primary children ages 6-7. This calling gives me an opportunity to interact with the youth of our church and learn from their knowledge of gospel principles. I love preparing lessons for each Sunday because each lesson teaches me something that I need to know every week. Church callings help our church stay organized so that we can focus on what is being taught and take each principle into our daily lives.
