Hi I'm Ben

I am from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I am going to be a doctor someday. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Mountain View, California and moved to Jackson Hole after my freshman year of high school. After moving I became an avid big mountain skier, hiker, fisherman, and hunter. I love doing basically anything outside! I am currently at BYU Provo and hope to become a doctor in a few years. I am the oldest of 4 kids (two sisters and a brother) and have two dogs. I am a lifelong member of the church and love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been extremely critical. Ever since I became old enough to understand and even question the Book of Mormon, I have spent a lot of time thinking about it. Despite all of my previous doubts, there is simply no way the Book of Mormon didn't come straight from God. It is truly one of the most incredible books not only because of the doctrine found within but also because of how it came to be (timing, translators, the stories of those involved, etc.). I know that this book and consequently the church are from God and truly believe that by living the gospel I can have eternal life and joy.

How I live my faith

I have a really awesome ward here in Jackson! I was able to participate in numerous service projects and fun activities (like rafting, climbing, and backpacking trips). I also had the opportunity to serve in a leadership position with other youth in my ward so I was able to learn to organize and teach lessons, plan activities, and be a good example.
