Hi I'm Sarah!

Hi, I'm Sarah! I'm a ballerina and an athlete. I'm from Pennsylvania. I live in Denver, Colorado. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hi! My name is Sarah. I was born in Pennsylvania and have lived in Chicago and then Denver. I love dance, specifically ballet. I play tennis and badminton. I love singing, I play the guitar. I'm classically trained in the guitar, I've played 12 years. I read a lot, my favorite books are classics, I love anything by Leo Tolstoy or Fyodor Dostoevsky. I love the musical Fiddler on the Roof. I made all the costumes for my high school plays. I love sewing. I'm really active in my church, I love it so much. My church is my family, the people in it and the missionaries that baptized me, they're my family. I have a few favorite verses among them Psalm 23, Proverbs 16:9, Jeremiah 29:11-14. and John 14:27. I am currently working and preparing to serve a mission soon!

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of this church because I have come to know it's true. I have gained a testimony of this church through reading my scriptures and serving others. I know that this church is true, I know that Joseph Smith did restore God's church on Earth, he restored the priesthood. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet called of God and I love and sustain him. I know that this gospel brings peace and joy. I know that the Holy Spirit can comfort all those who all are laden with heavy burdens. I know that all can find love and acceptance in this church. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I currently participate in my church as the president of the gospel principles class. It's a class for those who are investigating or new to the church. It's a really fun class! I really enjoy participating in church. I try to attend all my meetings on Sunday. We usually have events on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday's really fun because you get to see all the people in the ward. I'm in a young single adult ward so it's a really big family. We all know and love each other. Wednesday, we try to do events with the missionaries. I try to host the missionaries for dinner twice a month. We usually celebrate holidays together. Thursday we have Institute, it's a class where we get together to learn more, right now we're learning about Church History.
