Hi I'm Samantha

I was born in the New Jersey & raised in Utah. I'm a convert to the church. I'm a missionary in Boston, MA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a missionary serving in the Massachusetts Boston Mission. I love love love longboarding, snowboarding, pretty much any kind of boarding. I play the guitar & so enjoy the occasional jam session. I'm always down to curl up with a good book (especially the scriptures) preferably on a beach or lake. I am also quite fond of road trips with loved ones, family & friends. One last thing... I love this Gospel! It's impacted my life in infinite ways. I'm blessed for the opportunities I have had to be apart of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found for myself these things to be true through the power of the Holy Ghost. He made these things known to me. The way of life taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the way of God in every & all aspects.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping the commandments our Heavenly Father has set in place for us as well as following the example of Jesus Christ through His Gospel principles. My last calling was Family Home Evening Group Leader. Family Home Evening is a time set aside, usually on Monday nights, for families to spend time with each other learning about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In my young single adults ward we didn't have the luxury of being with our actual families. So, we are put into groups called our "families" and spend FHE (Family Home Evening) in this way. Being a group leader, I met with the other group leaders to plan & lead activities for our "family" just as a father or mother would do.

What is faith?

Samantha
Faith is action. Acting on the things you have heard and felt. Action is obeying the commandments of Heavenly Father and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Continual and persistent obedience will grow your faith. Taking the first step is necessary. Show more Show less
