Hi I'm Sarah Kidwell

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Idaho. And I am out to change the world one person at a time.

About Me

I am currently a college student and I'm studying Marriage and Family Studies to become a councilor. I love music and my favorite genres are violin music and country. I've been in choir since 4th grade and I was top in the soprano category in district solo. I also like doing anything outdoors, especially hiking and fishing. And I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since I was born.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the gospel in true. I have seen first hand how it changes my life and other people's lives. I know that the Priesthood was restored on this earth and I know that there is a living prophet on the earth today, President Thomas S. Monson. I have a testimony of the enabling power of the Priesthood because whenever I get a blessing from a worthy Priesthood holder they will always say exactly what I need to hear without a doubt. There is no doubt in my mind about what the church can do to strengthen my life and the life of others around me. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It has helped me understand what my purpose in this life is and who I am meant to be. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is so powerful. It is there so that we can repent and come to Christ and become clean again. There is no doubt in my mind that this church has so much to offer. I know for a fact that the Holy Ghost guides me throughout my daily life, showing me and keeping me on the straight and narrow path to eternal life. This is such a blessing to me to be apart of the LDS church. Nothing is better then to know that the trials in my life are going to make me stronger and they are there to help me be a better disciple of Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ amen.

How I live my faith

I am apart of my college's ward and I am one of the ward missionaries. I love it so much because I get to share my testimony with less active members so that their testimonies can grow along with mine. I love this gospel because it brings so much joy in my life, more then I can explain. I am very friendly so it is easy for me to just go up to random people and talk to them about their faith and tell them about mine. I am not afraid to stand for what I believe in because I know I can change someone's life just by being an example of my faith.
