Hi I'm Madison Spratt

I grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey There, I am Madi! I am currently on my last year of high school. I am the second oldest of 4 children. I spend my free time going on late night adventures, organizing service projects, working at a toystore, busting a move on a dance floor, or reading a good book! After High School I plan on attending BYU-I with the hopes of majoring in Secondary Education. I am also a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Choosing to get baptized was the best decision I have ever made.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, I attended over 25 churches before the age 12 just looking for...answers. Some either didn't care to give me an answer due to my age and some told me to just ask my parents. But I wanted to know for myself, Where do I belong? Shortly after I turned 12 I settled into a local Nazarene Church. They greeted me warmly, took me on a few trips, and even made me their Lead Singer in their church's band! Sadly, one Wednesday came and they told me to stop asking questions. Stop? All I have ever wanted is to know the truth and where I belong. I went home crying and began researching another youth group in which I could join. About a week later my mom called me and told me that a Doctor at her work found me a youth group in the 16th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was thrilled and began attending right away. After a few more weeks, my family and I started to take the missionary discussions. The missionaries told us to keep asking questions and when they did not know the answer at that point, they got back to us as soon as possible. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has no ends. They do not tell you to stop searching, they simply encourage it. They teach the true and restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so very grateful to have the gospel in my life as well as my family's. I know this church is true!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by diligently seeking others to teach. Being a convert, I am able to communicate with my friends, coworkers, classmates as well as strangers with an open mind. In all of my callings such as my current callings: Stake Youth Council Member and Laurel President, I seek all those who are in my spans. Going beyond the expectations of my callings and seeking those who are lost or have just wandered off. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gives me the opportunity to work with others who have the same desire to do the Lord's work.
