Hi I'm Chelsea

I grew up in California. I have five brothers who never cease to make me smile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my Freshman year of college! Even though I tore my ACL before my second semester and had to have surgery/walk campus on crutches, I still ended up having a blast, getting good grades, and just loving life. Currently, I'm studying Recreational Management but, as only a Freshman, that is most definitely subject to change. Growing up with five brothers means that I was practically forced into loving sports; I especially love to water and snow ski, hike, and play tennis, but I also love to sing and--of course-- laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this gospel to be true. I have felt God's love for me; He knows me as an individual and He knows you, too. Each day, I can see His hand in my life-- the blessings are endless if you just look. I know that part of the reason why I am so blessed is because of my faithfulness and diligence in striving to live His gospel, the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know it to be the only true church on the earth today, and I am so grateful for the peace and strength that it has brought me in my life by bringing me closer to Christ, especially in times of trial. I know with all my heart that it is true!

How I live my faith

Each day I try to emulate the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Though I am nowhere near perfect, there is joy and peace that comes when you live life righteously. Currently, I am preparing to serve a mission in Novosibirsk, Russia, which means for 18 months I will devote all my time and all my heart to preaching this gospel! I currently don't know any Russian but I have faith that with hard work, I will be blessed. I cannot wait to share the joy that the gospel brings with the people of Russia!
