Hi I'm Brooke Morrison

I'm from California, and love the beach more than most things. I'm currently serving a mission in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in Southern California I have gained a love for the beach, sun, and all things outdoors. I enjoy swimming, surfing, backpacking, rollerblading, and eating ice cream :) I attend Brigham Young University studying information systems, with hopes that I will one day become an app developer. I love coding and think it's one of the coolest things ever. I am also a huge sports fan, especially basketball and hockey. While attending BYU I have camped out for almost every single basketball game, and you could usually find me in the front row. I was bred to be a BYU Cougar and have so much school spirit it's probably a little unhealthy. I have always loved watching hockey and playing in the street with my family and friends. Last year, I ventured to ice hockey and found a new hobby. It is so much fun and a great outlet for the stress you build up at school. I am currently serving a mission in Pittsburgh, PA, and although it's nothing like the west coast, I love it! It is so much fun to share the gospel and your testimony everyday to strangers.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it has given me a purpose in this life. I know that as I live the commandments, and try my hardest everyday to be like Christ that I will be blessed to live in heaven with my Heavenly Father again. I also know that if my family does the same that we will get to continue being together after this life, and for eternity. That is my end goal: to live in heaven with my family and Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example of Christ at all times. It is a lot easier to do while serving a mission because that is one of the main things that you do. However, I have learned over the years, to just be kind and loving to people and treat them the way that Christ would have treated them.
