Hi I'm Paul

I grew up in Provo, Utah. I enjoy the outdoors. I enjoy baking. I am a bee keeper. I am a Husband and a father of 3... almost 4 :)

About Me

I enjoy doing many things; I enjoy the outdoors skiing, hiking, biking, and most anything to enjoy a rush and being out in nature. I enjoy baking, beekeeping. I graduated college earning my bachelors degree in BA. I currently work with a company that buy's and sells real estate. I am married and have 3 children with 1 on the way.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up being a Mormon I ultimately had to make the decision to continue with the faith and actively live my faith. I believe why I have chosen to actively be a member of Christ's church is because of the blessings I have seen throughout my life. What I mean, I've been in many circumstances where a different decision would have lead me down a path I should not be going down. In each of those instances I received a prompting, which I know today was the spirit leading and guiding me, telling me to go the different path. That different path has lead me to where I am today.

How I live my faith

I grew up being a Mormon. All my friends were Mormon and my high school was predominantly Mormon. So keeping up with the standards might have seemed easy. I had good friends, so it made it easy. However, I served in the church in youth programs and eventually served a 2 year mission in Orange County, CA. Since then I've served in various callings in the church to ultimately help others to come unto Christ through living his teachings. Callings have given me the opportunity to give of my time in the service of others; ultimately we are serving the Savior when we serve our fellow men and women.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Paul
We worship the Savior Jesus Christ. We believe he is the Son of God who came to this earth to take upon him all the pains, sins, heartache, and anything in this life that can weigh each of us down, so that we could look to him and have faith in him and be saved through is loving grace. Throughout time, God, our Heavenly Father, has always called prophets to provide direction to his children on earth. Prophets are the mouthpiece in delivering messages of how we ought to live by providing commandments, and receiving the mind and will of the Lord. Joseph Smith is a man like any other man. However, he was chosen by our Heavenly Father to restore the Gospel once again on the earth and in doing so was called as a prophet. He was the mouthpiece in delivering commandments and doctrine for us at this particular time in history. I revere him as a prophet and he was called of God. Show more Show less
