Hi I'm Ben

I was born in Provo. I grew up in Las Vegas. I am a student at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well I'm just an average 18 year old kid who's going to school at BYU. I absolutely love playing soccer and basketball, but am terrible at both of them. I also appreciate music very much. It has been such an integral part of my development as an adult. I play the piano, violin, and guitar. Over time, I just want to have a steady career and support a family, but at the same time, gain a sense of fulfillment. Because of that, I'm strongly considering pursuing medicine as a career. I love people. I can't get enough of them.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Christ is our Redeemer. It wasn't until my first couple of weeks at school that I gained a firm testimony of the Gospel and found why I am actually a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I want to follow Jesus Christ and the example that He has set for all of us. He has this undying love that we should all carry within us. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet on the earth today and that he guides the Church with all the keys of the priesthood. I am a Mormon because I know that everything we stand for is absolutely true.

How I live my faith

Every day, I surround myself with positive influences that uplift and enlighten me in the Gospel. I regularly home teach, and am currently preparing to serve a two year mission for the Church. I have been reading the Book of Mormon more frequently than ever before and have tried sharing my beliefs with my friends. Even though some of them have differing views, they do not deter me from loving them nor from standing firm in what I believe to be true.
