Hi I'm Emmy Visick

I grew up in Logan Utah. I am a student at Brigham Young University and I am going on a mission to Riverside California.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University in Provo Utah. I am currently studying Indecision but hopefully that will change. I used to swim and pole-vault, now if I have time, I like to read, draw portraits, paint and write novels though none are at the level of publishing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and its gospel, and I have never once resented it. I was brought up knowing that my family would be together forever, that we ought to treat people the way we want to be treated and that even if we stray we can always repent and be forgiven and come back to the straight and narrow path. I am saddened when I see others despair because they don't know the glorious truths that I do within this church. These truths are not kept secret they are preached in the four corners of the earth and one need only listen to them and have a little faith to find the happiness that we experience. I am a Mormon because I know this is Christ's true church restored to the earth today, I know that he died for our sins and I know that he rose after those three days and he lives. This church preaches Christ's gospel, I know it, I live it, I love it and that is why I am a member.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday, by partaking of the sacrament and renewing my covenants that I made at baptism. I strive to remember the Lord every day by reading my scriptures and praying. I perform my church callings such as visiting teaching women in my ward and sharing spiritual messages with them every month and by attending the temple often.
