Hi I'm Susanna

I am from Finland. I love adventures and new experiences. The next adventure is going to be my mission in Spain. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm a 19-year-old girl. I'm the oldest daughter in my family. I have a little sister and two little brothers. I graduated from high school spring 2015. At school I enjoyed Finnish language, foreign languages, psychology and social studies. I have been always active in school's extra curriculum activities, on my second high school year I was the student board president. I haven't figured out yet what I want to be when I grow up. I'd like to study social studies, communications or Spanish language. Or maybe something totally different, the time will tell. I'm an eager girl scout, scouting has been my hobby more than ten years. I adventures and outdoors, I love new experiences and challenges. As a scout leader I have been able to work with amazing children and young people and have chances to organize camps. I also enjoy music, baking cookies and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church for my whole life. It's not always the easiest way to live, but it has been worth it. I know that this is the true church on earth and I know that when we follow God's commandments, He blesses us. Gospel can make us happier than anything else in the world. I'm grateful to know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and He died for me. Because He died for me, I don't have be perfect to be saved. I just have to keep trying. The church is the best thing in my life and I couldn't imagine living without it.

How I live my faith

When I turned 18, my first calling at the church was to take care of the kids age 1,5-3 on Sundays so that their parents can participate classes at the church. Being with so little children was new for me, but I learned a lot. Right now at the church I teach a Sunday school class for kids 12-14 years old. I want to help them to strengthen their faith and learn how to study the scriptures and receive answers to the prayers. I also organize activity nights for girls age 8-11. I go to church every Sunday and take part of the church youth activities. Through those activities I have made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun experiences. I have always wanted to serve as a missionary and I recently got a call to serve a mission in Madrid, Spain beginning August 2015. I'm excited for the opportunity to serve the people in Spain and help them to find the happiness the gospel can bring.
