Hi I'm Kris Batty

I grew up in Young Ward, a small ward outside of Logan, Utah. I have lived in Laketown, Utah for 25 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 63. I have 5 children, 16 grandchildren. Recently retired from working as a Resource Aide at the school. My husband and I have been married 25 years. I have been divorced. I have taught piano for 45 years. My husband and I are getting ready to serve a mission in the Micronesia Guam Mission as CES Specialists. I love to ride horses with my husband, garden, golf, snow ski, be with my grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized a Mormon when I was 8 yrs old because of being blessed to be raised in a Mormon Family. I love being a Mormon because of all the wonderful principles that help me live a clean, productive life. I am very grateful for the blessings of the Atonement given to me through my Savior Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the strength that it gives me to live each day, trying to be a good example to my family and friends. I know that the Prophet Joseph Smith restored this gospel to the earth. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as Primary Pianist, visiting teacher, and Young Single Adult Stake Leaders. I have loved working with the youth, especially as Young Women's President. This past Christmas I was in charge of putting together a Nativity for our ward on Christmas Eve.
