Hi I'm Sarah

I was born in Japan, but grew up in America. I love to dance, play music, and explore the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the church and was baptized on March 13, 2004. I was born in Japan and came to Ohio with my family when I was five months old and have lived there ever since. I plan on majoring in Exercise Science to become a Physical Therapist. My father and mother both have a passion for music which rubbed off on my because I love to sing with the radio or when I play with my guitar or ukulele. Dancing has always been a hobby of mine! I also enjoy going outdoors, hiking , and going kayaking.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in the church, like my dad says, "everyone has their own conversion story". My conversion was not a sudden epiphany, but rather a progression. I had numerous opportunities where I had felt the love of our Savior through my own personal experiences and hearing others testify of theirs. This church has brought me such joy in my life and I am eternally grateful for having it, as well as, having opportunities to share it with others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my actions. I respect my body by dressing modestly, abstaining from drug use or drinking alcohol, not speaking profanity, show love through serving others, and living up to the standards my loving parents have taught me. To live up to my standards is not difficult for me because I had made the decision at a very young age to follow through with them which made me gain a greater to desire to continue.
