Hi I'm Marie

I was born into an LDS family in Idaho, when I was 9 years old my family moved to California. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I finished high school in California and then went to school for fashion merchandising. I worked in that field for a while. One day at church my Bishop asked me if I ever thought about going on a mission. I honestly had never thought about it. He asked me to think about it and if I wanted to go let him know and he would help me through the process. I knew that was what my Heavenly Father wanted me to do. A few months later I left for the Manitoba Minnesota Mission. That was one of the best decision I've made. I went back to school and became a special education teacher and later returned to Minnesota where I met my husband. A family I taught on my mission was helping teach him. We have a son and daughter that are now grown and we are getting ready to go on a mission to the Micronesia Guam Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that this is his church on the earth today. I know that he lives and suffered for our sins so we can be together as a family when our time on the earth is over.

How I live my faith

I have have not only taught in the field of education as a special education teacher but I have taught children, youth and adults in the church. I think that many times I have learn more than them. One of the things I've enjoyed most is working with the girls at summer camp. It is a time to relax in nature with all the beautiful things our Father in Heaven has put on this earth for us to enjoy.
