Hi I'm Laufau Bella Talataina

I was raised in Wellington, New Zealand but now reside in Sydney, Australia. I love hanging out with my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Samoan girl who loves to spend time with family and friends. Family is such a important part of my culture and the gospel of Jesus Christ really portrays the importance of Family. I love journal writing, noting important events and special moments which I have experienced. I especially love to sing with my brothers when they least expect me to join in with them.

Why I am a Mormon

My understanding of the gospel was very little. It was not until I read the Book Of Mormon and actually prayed about it that I was able to receive a witness for myself that it is true. I was overwhelmed by the Spirit and the feeling of assurance that everything I learnt from when I was young till now is true. It is this feeling that I love. It is a feeling of warmth and comfort, it expresses joy from the heart and I try every single day to feel that joy, which I know and believe is found in my Saviour Jesus Christ and his gospel.

How I live my faith

On Sundays I teach a group of students who are aged 6 and I love their willingness to learn more about the gospel. As I prepare to teach these young children I must know for myself if these things are true. I can do this by studying the Scriptures and also through Prayer. I am constantly reminded to maintain the standards that I have by living the commandments and by being a Christ-like example to those around me.
