Hi I'm W. Dennis Parker

I have lived mostly in Roy, Utah. I started CHTS and train people to be ACHE Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have 11 children and additional sons and daughters in law, with a current total of 39 grandchildren. There are 62 members of our immediate family. We believe that our family is one of our greatest blessings, and that the church is the best place to receive family values and teachings that are an ongoing assistance to keeping a family productively together. I am a noted Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist registered with the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners since 1991, and a Board Certified Hypnotherapist Examiner, Instructor, and Approved Hypnotherapy School Operator. I train students in hypnosis, self-hypnosis, hypnotherapy, and unique, proprietary, “Positive Mind Management Hypnotherapy” protocols. I own a hypnotherapy clinic: Positive Mind Management Services, and I am a certified clinical hypnotherapist. I am a motivational/inspirational public speaker. I do Keynote speaking, Webinars, Seminars and Workshops. I do a Podcast Radio Show as the Host, on Webtalkradio.net: I am an author of books and magazine articles.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because even though I was raised in the church, I finally had to come to the knowledge of the truthfulness of it myself, just like any other person. A time came in my life when I was unhappy with the direction my life was going. I started questioning everything and started seeking in earnest, by reading and praying about the Bible and the Book of Mormon, wanting to know the truth about Christ. I had several pivotal experiences of change in answer to my studies and prayers, I received my witness from the Holy Spirit that the Book Of Mormon, is just as true as the Bible is, and that I could use both of them to obtain more truth and understanding about Jesus Christ and His teachings. I know that the more I study and apply His teachings in my life, the more peaceful and calm, the more meaningful my life is, and I am happier. I am grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ and for repentance, and the opportunity we all have to receive remission of our sins, and overcome our weaknesses. There is great joy in making positive changes in our lives. When we know what we are doing is pleasing to God, it gives us confidence and joy in life and our purposes in serving others are more satisfying.

How I live my faith

We enjoy many family activities and supporting one another as family members. We like doing family things, such as growing a garden, camping, golfing together, and just being together for family dinners. My wife and I teach different classes in church. I also teach people in my community of all ages and backgrounds, in person and online, new mental skills and give them tools to overcome such things as: fears and phobias, separation anxiety & homesickness, self-confidence and self-esteem issues, conquer pornography and self-abuse, sleeping difficulties, gambling and electronic game playing. These skills and tools desensitize emotions from abuse and past traumatic experiences, grieving and other unresolved issues such as death of a loved one, divorce, abandonment, eliminate hopelessness, desperation, they free people from feeling of despair, feeling stuck and inhibited. They allow for stress reduction, pain control – painless child birthing and relieve people from emotionally Induced migraine headaches, and so forth. Teaching correct mental principals and skills, and providing tools that enable people to manage their minds, attitudes, and habits, is a passion for me. I like being of benefit in the lives of others. My greatest joy seems to always come from serving others and being able to observe positive changes.
