Hi I'm Beverly

I grew up all over the south east coast. My dad was in the Navy. I am a registered nurse.

About Me

I am an RN and have a tender spot in my heart when caring for the elderly. I enjoy gardening and canning the produce from it. I also love genealogy. I got hooked on it when I started college and have been seeking out my ancestors for over 40 years. I love finding out the stories behind the names.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the LDS church when I was a senior in high school. I have always felt the Holy Ghost throughout my life and the understood that God has a hand in our lives. When the missionaries came to my home and taught my parents and myself. I was invited to attend youth meetings. I went and felt the Holy Ghost witnessing to me of truthfulness and that it was the correct choice to be baptized. There were times after I was baptized that I was encouraged not to attend but I decided that I had made a commitment to the Lord and needed to fulfill it. I have never ever regretted that decision. I have had, as well many others have had, challenges in my life, I have also been very blessed due to my decision to keep the sacred promises I made at my baptism. I have chosen as a motto: Make lemonade out of the lemons I am given.

How I live my faith

We are taught in the scriptures that "when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." I try to live that by visiting others, observing for needs, and then helping. Mostly, I live my faith by following the commandments of our Heavenly Father.
